Streetsville is technically part of Mississauga but if you ask any resident where they live, they will tell you they live in Streetville, not Mississauga. Streetville has been its own village for over 200 years and only amalgamated with Mississauga in the late 70's, so the culture and pride of Streetville is very much alive and strong. The town offers walking tours, as there are many buildings with a rich history to tell. Streetville also puts on its own events like the Bread and Honey Festival and Taste of Streetsville.
