Lisgar is an ideal commuter village at the north west corner of the city. It has it's own GO station and excellent access to the 401, 407 and connecting highways. It is relatively affordable and offers solid brick family homes with modern features, newer schools and nice parks. The pride of Lisgar is Trelawny Estates, which offers very large homes nestled on many small courts, with only 6 homes to a court. It's a very unique design, but the lots are quite small and so the backyards suffer space or privacy. Lisgar is extremely suburban, and the homes are very close together, so the neighbourhood is rather dense in population.
