Start Your Search By Choosing a Village

If you have just started your search and you don't know where to begin, below is a basic search, filtered by village. But the more clear you are on your wants, needs and goals, the more effective your search becomes. So I encourage you to check out my detailed descirptions and analysis of Mississauga Villages on thevillageguru.com. Mississaauga is very diverse and the villages offer very different amenities & lifestyle. Consider your first goal of your home search to narrow down to a handful of villages that meet your preferences.

Now, being busy selling houses really cuts into my website building time, so I'm still working on Oakville and Burlington. Here's the main consideration about them both; it's how the distance factors into your lifestyle. My wife grew up in Burlington and spent her entire young life with friends in Burlington and Oakville, and we have both spent much time there and know it well. Today, I buy homes quite often in these 2 villages for people ready to leave Mississauga. If the distance works for your lifestyle, both communities have been voted in recent years as one of the best cities to live in, in all of CANADA. Why? They are both relatively small towns with great curb appeal and sense of community. Unlike Mississauga, where every neighbourhood has had to deal with affordable housing issues, and being accessible to all demographics due to its sheer size, Burlington and Oakville are just neighbourhood after neighbourhood of modest, then pretty, then luxurious detached homes. It's only in the last 15 years that they have to change their building plans to meet population density issues. Traffic can be quite difficult at rush hour, but if you want to live in what still feels like a beautiful little town, both Oakville and Burlington deliver. Please contact me if you have any questions about Oakville or Burlington or to be set up on a custom search.
